Hi, I’m Harry.
I’m Harminder Singh Longman, the second generation behind Longman Studio.
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My family’s journey behind the camera began in India in 1967, and today I’m proud to continue that legacy in Canada with a modern approach to wedding photography and cinematography.
We specialize in South Asian and multicultural weddings, capturing the traditions, emotions, family connections and incredible energy that make every celebration unique.

Choosing Longman Studios for our wedding celebrations was hands down the best investment we made for our wedding/ceremony. Indian weddings are full of color, emotion, and tradition, and we needed someone who could keep up with the pace across multiple events and days. Harminder and his team did that and so much more.
From our wedding preshoot to the wedding day and the reception day, they captured every detail with stunning precision. They have a masterful eye for the 'big' moments like the high-energy at the Baraat and the emotional moments at the Vidaai at the same time but they also caught the quiet, candid glances and the intricate details of our jewelry, outfits and decore that we worked so hard to pick out.
What impressed us most was their ability to manage and work with the crowd. Handling hundreds of guests for family portraits is no small feat, but Harminder and his team were patient, professional, and kept everything moving seamlessly without ever losing their cool. They truly respected our traditions and they knew exactly where to be to get the perfect shot without being intrusive during the rituals, speeches and family performances.
When we opened our final gallery, it felt like a cinematic masterpiece. At that point we had realized how harminder had truly gone above and beyond from what we had hired him to do. The pictures, videos and the highlight videos were rich and true to life, and the editing perfectly balanced the vibrancy of our culture with a timeless, elegant finish. This also followed for our albums we had gotten from him.
